With the start of flu season, Froedtert Hospitals and the Medical College of Wisconsin aren't allowing children under 12-years-old to visit birth centers for a temporary amount of time.
We're temporarily restricting visitor access to Birth Centers at Froedtert Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and Froedtert West Bend Hospital beginning today, Dec. 18. Children under 12 are NOT allowed to visit patients in our Birth Centers until further notice.

Beginning Wednesday, no child under 12 will be allowed in the birth centers at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital or Froedtert West Bend Hospital until further notice.
This restriction is necessary to prevent the spread of illnesses to newborns, according to a Froedtert Facebook post.
