MILWAUKEE — A former WWII Navy Pilot and his wife celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary at the same place they spent their wedding night: Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
Wisconsin-natives Chuck Franzke, 97, and his wife Beverly stayed at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center on their wedding night 75 years ago. Now, the couple has returned to celebrate 75 years of marriage.
The Milwaukee Chop House hosted the event and supplying the couple with dinner. Additionally, Think Limo donated their services to drop off the couple.
To make this story even sweeter, the couple still has the receipt from their stay at the hotel 75 years ago.
