A former Wauwatosa priest was sentenced Friday for inappropriately touching a young girl.
Robert Marsicek, a former priest at St. Pius X Grade School in Wauwatosa, will spend one year behind bars, after pleading “no contest” to the charges. He went directly to jail after the sentencing.
The judge told him all his good work as a priest was now tainted by his behavior.
The now 16-year-old girl who went through the abuse starting at the age of 6 was in court Friday.The student recalled the abuse continuing from first grade to fourth grade in a detailed report to police.
After he was charged in February, when asked if he was attracted to small boys and girls Marsicek said, “Certainly I’m aroused just the cuteness and beauty of them.”
