DODGE COUNTY — The Fond du Lac man that authorities were searching for earlier today in Horican was arrested at 8:58 p.m, according to Dodge County Sheriff's Office
Originally authorities had suspended the search for 35-year-old Richard Erdmann; however, authorities received additional information that led to his eventual arrest on Thursday night.
Officials originally tried to contact Erdmann during a welfare check at the Royal Oaks Motel in the Township of Hubbard. Erdmann fled into a nearby marsh and multiple different agencies tried to locate him. He had three felony warrants at the time of the check.
Eventually, the search was suspended after using drones and K9 units to find him. Several hours later, Dodge County Sheriff's Office said they arrested Erdmann without incident.
According to the press release, "No additional information is available at this time."
