Flowers beginning to wilt at Stonebank sunflower farm

STONEBANK, Wis — Say goodbye to the beautiful sunflower farm in Stonebank.

In a Facebook post made on Thursday Aug. 22, the farm said that mother nature is at work and the flowers are beginning to wilt.

This was expected, but it's something we all didn't want to end so soon. The farm won't be back for a few years either given the farmer's crop rotation schedule.

Now, the seeds from the flower will be used to make organic sunflower oil.

Be on the lookout for more videos of the harvest. On the bright side of things, pumpkin season is almost here for some amazing pumpkin patches and corn mazes to enjoy.
