A Delta Airlines flight from Milwaukee to Atlanta made an emergency landing Tuesday in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

According to a Chattanooga Airport spokesperson, the plane made the emergency landing after it was struck by lightning.

The flight was carrying 164 passengers, all of whom were uninjured.

The plane, an MD-90 aircraft, landed safely without incident and taxied to the gate under its own power, Delta said in a news release. The airline planned to transport customers to Atlanta via bus.

Here is the statement from Delta:

Delta apologizes to the customers of flight 2050 for the delay incurred after the flight diverted to Chattanooga due a mechanical issue. The safety of Delta’s customers and crew is always our top priority. The aircraft is undergoing maintenance evaluation while the airline is working to get customers to their destination as quickly as possible.
