MILWAUKEE — Firefighters with the Milwaukee Fire Department had to put out a house fire in the 2700 block of W. Melvina Street.
Police say officers responded shortly after 6:00 p.m. Monday.
Three people were able to escape the blaze with no injuries. The house is a total loss and the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
The fire is still under investigation.
