A driver crashed into a tree and a fire hydrant Monday morning, resulting in the flooding of nearby streets.
The crash happened near Sherman and Nash about 2 a.m.
The driver struck a fire hydrant and a tree, causing the tree to fall on top of the vehicle. The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Water was gushing up out of the fire hydrant about 10 ft. high, according to our crew on the scene.

Police said they are still working to determine the cause of the crash,
