MILWAUKEE -- Two women in their twenties are trying to start a different conversation about women.
29-year-old Alaina Landi and 25-year-old Courtney Hellendrung are working out of each other's basements to make their dream of sustainable fashion come to life. Their fashion line is called Victress Vibes.
They are doing this by creating designs dedicated to powerful women in history, like British mathematician Joan Clarke.
"The woman who solved the Nazi enigma in World War II, it says 'I solve my own problems.'"
They hope to expand their business through a crowdfunding campaign and in return, expand people's knowledge.
