MILWAUKEE — A fatal assault Sunday night at Bradford Beach appears to have been "random", the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said.
Sheriff Earnell Lucas said that there were no familial connections between the victim and suspect. It is unclear what happened or why it happened.
The suspect fled the scene but was caught after the person returned to the scene, officials said.
The assault happened around 9 p.m. on Sunday. The victim was found unresponsive on the ground. Emergency crews tried to save the victim, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
