GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — No more "be kind, rewind."
Family Video, a Midwest-based video rental chain, announced Tuesday it is closing all of its remaining locations nationwide, including several in Wisconsin.
The company said in a news release Tuesday stores have begun their liquidation sales. The stores are selling movies, video games, CBD products, store fixtures and more at closeout prices. Each location will officially close once all of their inventory is sold, the company says.
“We are very thankful to have been able to provide entertainment for many family movie nights," said Keith Hoogland, CEO of Highland Ventures, LTD, the company that owns Family Video.
The local stores closing include locations in West Allis, Waukesha, West Bend, and Racine.
According to Family Video, the company's stores have been a part of the Green Bay community since 1997.
