ELM GROVE -- Six firefighters were sent to the hospital after a battling a house fire Saturday in Elm Grove.
The fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. at a single family home -- located at 1250 Fairhaven Blvd.
According to the Elm Grove Fire Department, one person was home when the fire started. They were able to escape without injury. No other citizens were injured.
The six injured firefighters were treated for their injuries -- and were released from the hospital.

Firefighters are still on scene investigating the fire.
