Experts say go for the floor models, especially if there's a sale price, you should try and get a better deal.
2.) Furniture
You can also negotiate the cost of furniture. Here's the key: Look for any defects like small tears or stains and use that as a bargaining chip to get the price lower.
3.) Dry Cleaning
If you offer to refer business to your local cleaners, it doesn't hurt to ask for a discount in return.
4.) Cable Bills
If you are a loyal customer, call up your provider and see if they'll give you a discount. You can tell your provider you want a better deal, or you'll switch to another service.
5.) Jewelry
Some stores might not budge, but it doesn't hurt to ask for a cheaper price. Just be ready to walk away. Often, that's exactly when a sales rep will make a deal with you.
