MONTEREY, Calif. — Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc is voluntarily recalling specific cases of baby spinach due to possible contamination of salmonella, some of which were sold in Wisconsin.

The products that are being recalled are 6 oz Dole Baby Spinach bag, Lot code W20308A (UPC code 0-71430-00964-2), and 10 oz Dole Baby Spinach clamshell, Lot code W203010 (UPC code 0-71430-00016-8) with use-by dates of 8-5-2019.

No illnesses have been reported in association with the recall, but a precautionary recall has been issued due to a sample test that yielded a positive result for Salmonella.

This product has already expired and should no longer be available to purchase. The cases of spinach were also sold in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia.
