Dogs found abandoned in Grand Chute field

GRAND CHUTE — The Grand Chute police department is looking for help identifying two dogs found abandoned late yesterday.

An officer responded to a field east of Clairemont Drive Wednesday where the pitbulls were found alone with two bags of food, the department said on Facebook.

The dogs are currently being cared for at the Fox Valley Humane Association.

The male is medium size, black in color and somewhere between 1-4 years old. He has a white dot on his forehead, white on his chest, white on his paws and what looks like a scar under his right nostril.

The female is also medium size and somewhere between 1-4 years old. she is all black with white on her chest along with white on her rear paws. It is believed that the female had recently given birth.
