Dog stolen from 'Preppy Pups' in West Allis found in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- A puppy that was stolen from a business in West Allis was found safe in Milwaukee Tuesday night after it was stolen earlier this week.

The puppy, a "white Tea Cup Maltese" was stolen Monday from the store called "Preppy Pups." 

West Allis Police say the dog was recovered by Milwaukee Police Department's District 3's office and has been reunited with its owner.

The Maltese is an expensive dog -- valued at $1,300.

On Monday, West Allis Police said the subject who took the dog is described a Hispanic male, about 23-27 years of age, about 5'8" tall, medium build, and last seen wearing a black hat, black shirt, black shirt, and dark khaki pants.
