DEFOREST — The DeForest Police Department is searching for the suspect who stole a woman's purse and used her credit card to buy $800 worth of Visa gift cards.
The man stole the purse from a cart at the DeForest Pick 'N Save around 1 p.m. on Nov. 19.
The suspect then went to Walmart in Sun Prairie and purchased $800 in Visa gift cards. Police say he used the self-checkout aisle at the store.
