MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin's own New Glarus Spotted Cow and New Glarus Belgian Red were named as two of America's top beers on a recent list of the top 101, according to The Daily Meal.
If you live in Wisconsin, you've heard of Spotted Cow. The famous beer is one of Wisconsin's most iconic attributes. The New Glarus craft beer is a smooth, creamy ale that goes well with any occasion, whether that be a backyard barbecue or a holiday dinner.
The other beer ranked among the nation's best, New Glarus Belgian Red, is four percent alcohol by volume and contains over a pound of cherries in every bottle. Despite Spotted Cow being the most popular beer in the brewery, Belgian Red certainly gives it a run for its' money.
If you aren't from Wisconsin, it will be tough for you to purchase these beers because New Glarus does not export out-of-state.
