JANESVILLE -- A Janesville elementary school student was using socks on his hands to keep warm during this week's frigid temperatures, until a school custodian gave up his own gloves to help the student.
According to our partners at WISC-TV, Melvin Crawford, the Lincoln Elementary School head custodian noticed a student walking around with just socks on his hands to stay warm.
Crawford then took off his own gloves and gave them to the student, and said he did not need them back, according to the post.
