Protesters gathered near the scene of a "domestic incident" at 40th and 28th streets Sunday evening. A man, identified by family as Jacob Blake, was shot several times in the back by a Kenosha police officer. Kenosha PD has not said what led up to the shooting.
Protesters marched from the scene to the Kenosha Police Department Sunday night. Fires were set to dump trucks blocking off the area and several businesses were damaged.
An emergency curfew was set for Sunday night until 7 a.m. Monday.
Monday's curfew is for everyone on the east side of I-94, the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department says.
Blake was air lifted to a Milwaukee hospital, where he is recovering, family say.
