For the seventh year in a row, Cousins Subs is offering to help graduating high school seniors in their journey to college.
Cousins Subs' Make It Better Foundation will offer $20,000 in scholarships as part of its Wisconsin Sports Awards Scholarship Contest.
To be eligible to apply students must meet the following requirements:
- Must be second semester high school senior
- Must have participated in a WIAA sanctioned sport during high school
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5
- Must be involved with civic or community organizations throughout high school
- Must be college bound
- Must consent to be photographed, audio and video recorded
Applicants must submit a short essay on what drives them to give back to the community as well as an additional essay on how being an athlete has taught lessons and will assist in future endeavors.
Two first place winners will be awarded $7,500 and two runner-up winners will be awarded $2,500.
