The City of Milwaukee is reinstating parking enforcement for all posted time restrictions beginning Sept. 14.

The city suspended all timed, metered, and day/night parking restrictions in March to accommodate more people at home due to the pandemic.

The city then reinstated parking meter enforcement in June, as more businesses began reopening.

Now that students are back on college campuses, the city said parking will become more in-demand in certain areas.

Daytime parking permits will now be required and cars cannot be parked beyond the allowable time on parking meters. Night parking restrictions remain suspended.

For more information on parking permits, visit the city's website.
