Cintas is closing its Menomonee Falls facility after "unforeseeable business circumstances" related to the pandemic.

In a statement released Monday, the company said it recently analyzed the Milwaukee market to determine the optimal structure for growth and service.

Based on the study and the circumstances related to the pandemic, the company said it was closing its Menomonee Falls location at N51W139915 Northpark Drive on Aug. 31.

"Cintas remains committed to providing great service with no disruptions to customers during this transition. The company also remains committed to continuing to be a good corporate citizen to the Milwaukee community," said the company. "Affected employee-partners are encouraged to apply for open positions at other area Cintas facilities. If the company is unable to offer continuing employment, severance pay, and optional continued healthcare coverage will be provided."

The services offered at the Menomonee Falls facility will be transitioned to other local facilities.
