MILWAUKEE — The fan favorite 'Christkindlmarket' is back in Milwaukee for it's second season of winter fun. Complete with German food, souvenir mugs, holiday gifts and more, organizers opened the holiday market to the public on Friday.
During the market's first year in the Deer District, 450,000 people visited the winter wonderland. Officials are expecting that number to grow this year.
“Last year, it was very busy and we had a great time and met a lot of new friends. It’s nice to meet up with everybody once a year. It’s beautiful," said Kristy Roe, employee at Bob's Belgian Hot Chocolate.
The Christkindlmarket is free to enter, open daily through Christmas Eve. For more information, click here.
