MILWAUKEE — If you'll be out celebrating New Year's Eve, here are a couple of options for you to get to your destination and back safely.
Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are good ideas if you'll be heading out a little farther than usual tonight. Keep in mind, during peak times, the cost of a ride may be more expensive than usual.
Take the bus. The Milwaukee County Transit System has close routes to most of downtown Milwaukee's bars and restaurants.
The Hop, Milwaukee's streetcar, is also a good option for downtown venturing.
Another safe option is hitching a ride with a friend. Be sure to choose a designated driver who will not be drinking and is not under the influence of any substances.
