KENOSHA — Carthage College in Kenosha announced plans to cut its tuition on Tuesday, after carefully considering the growing calls to make college more affordable.
The private liberal arts college plans to slash tuition by nearly $13,000 for the upcoming 2020 academic year. That brings the yearly cost from about $45,000 to an estimated $31,000 dollars.
Administrators hope that the 30% cost reduction will encompass the school's long-standing commitment to affordable education, making pricing more transparent.
