MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Bucks will start the 2020-21 season against Boston on Dec. 23 before returning to Milwaukee for a Christmas Day home opener against the Golden State Warriors.
The NBA announced Wednesday the nine-game national TV schedule for the first three days of the 2020-21 season (Dec. 22, 23 and 25). That includes the Bucks’ opener against the Celtics (on TNT) and the Christmas Day game against the Warriors (on ABC).
The Bucks say the season opener at Boston will be the fourth consecutive season that they have opened on the road. The Christmas Day game at Fiserv Forum will be the second time that the Bucks have hosted a game on Christmas. The only other game was in 1968, and will be the third straight season that Milwaukee has played on Christmas Day.
The rest of the Bucks’ 2020-21 first half schedule will be released on Friday, Dec. 4, according to the Bucks.
The game against Boston starts at 6:30 p.m. CT, and the game against the Warriors starts at 1:30 p.m. CT.
