BROOKFIELD — An Anytime Fitness gym in Brookfield has opened Milwaukee's very first open-air gym due to the mask mandate in the city and the state of Wisconsin.
The new gym, called the Annex, allows people to workout and maintain social distancing without having to wear a mask.
The semi-permanent installation is located in the Ruby Isle Shopping Center at the corner of North Ave and Calhoun Road in Brookfield. There is equipment for cardio, as well as full-body resistance training.
The new gym is open Monday through Friday from sunrise until 7 p.m. and Saturdays from sunrise until 2 p.m.
According to the gym, the Annex is an amenity of Anytime Fitness Brookfield-Ruby Isle. If any member of the community would like to utilize our facility, temporary club passes are available - and they include the use of The Annex.
