The crowd will be slightly harrier than usual at the Admirals game on Saturday. The team is inviting fans and their dogs to watch them take on the Ontario Reign for Pet Supplies Plus Dog Day.
Tickets are $15 for humans and $5 for dogs. Yes, you have to pay to get your dog into the arena, but $2 from every dog ticket will be donated to Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha, so it goes towards a good cause.
Once inside, fans can purchase Admirals merchandise for their pets at the Arena Team Store such as jerseys, collars and leashes.
There will also be watering stations located throughout the concourse for pets to get a drink during intermission.
Fans bringing dogs to the game should enter the Panther Arena through the State St. entrance on the North side of the building.
Tickets can be purchased on the Milwaukee Admirals website, in person at the Admirals office or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000. Groups of 10 or more people, not including dogs, receive discounts off the regular ticket price.
Saturday marks the 13th season that the Admirals have hosted a Dog Day game.
