The Brewers confirmed Friday -- with a notarized letter from a local veterinarian -- that there is only one Hank and he is in excellent health.
His adoptive family says he has gotten fluffier and healthier because of the love and care from his team family.
In the last few days, a post at Brewers fan blog Brew Crew Ball has sparked a massive online discussion about whether or not the current "Hank the Dog" is the same dog that wandered into the Brewers' spring training facility in 2014.
Author Travis Sarandos argued that the "current Hank," or "Hank 2," just doesn't look anything like "Hank 1."
In January 2015 Hank was named "Dog of the Year." He's raised close to $150,000 for the Humane Society.
