MILWAUKEE — The Brewers are gearing up for a big season, with big crowds expected.

Miller Park is looking to hire more people to help run the food service operation.

Another hiring event is planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Miller Park. Prospective employees should enter through the northeast Hot Corner entrance.

More than 1,200 people are needed to prepare food for the 40,000 fans who attend each game — and the Billy Joel concert April 26.

Jobs are available for concessionaires, beer vendors, club-level staff, bartenders, suite attendants, chefs, kitchen and warehouse employees.

“Billy Joel and Brewer Fans alike, will enjoy a great event, a great time, and great food at Miller Park, all thanks to the dedicated food service team members we have working here this year. The positive energy, sense of community, and commitment to preparing and serving quality food really sets our team apart,” Kevin Jezewski, general manager of Delaware North Sportservice, said in a news release.
