MILWAUKEE — On Friday night, Brewers pitcher Josh Lindblom and his wife bought $500 worth of Kopps for strangers.
The pitcher took to Twitter and announced that he had just purchased a $500 gift card to Kopps. From that point on, anyone who went to Kopps would get a free meal from Lindblom. Until the gift card ran out, of course.
Dessert time...head on over to @koppsfrozencustard in Greenfield (Layton Ave.). Ice cream is on us tonight. $500 gift card...you definitely need to move fast on this one the line is long!!! 🍦 🍨 pic.twitter.com/VugQSDkk48

That's not all, though. Earlier in the day, Lindblom also payed for meals at Buckley's Restaurant and Bar in Milwaukee. That total being an additional $500.
The restaurant shared photos on Twitter of both Lindblom and his wife, and surprised customers.
Today, @Brewers pitcher @JoshLindblom52 & his wife Aurielle purchased $500 worth of meals from us. It was our great pleasure to inform guests that their takeout order was covered, thanks to their generosity. 😭💙💛 Thanks to @SophiaMinnaert for the shout out! We love MKE ❤️!! pic.twitter.com/ajXRcWwwXx

The coolest part about all of this is the fact that Lindblom hasn't even played in his first regular season game with the Brewers yet. He took part in spring training but hasn't played at Miller Park, and yet here he is, already doing things for the fans.
