MILWAUKEE — The woman who was found dead at the scene of a garage fire on Milwaukee's north side Wednesday morning has been identified.
The victim is Natalya Nicholson, 25, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
Officers were called to a fire in the 3100 block of North 15th Street just before 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Lt. Patrick Pajot said a parking enforcement worker was flagged down by someone in the area for a garage fire. That worker called the fire department, who found a body inside the garage once the fire was extinguished.
