A body recovered Saturday afternoon at the lakefront in Kenosha has been confirmed as missing Kalamazoo, Michigan woman Amanda Hanover.
Police say they responded to a report of a body in the water just before 2:30 p.m. and recovered the body of a deceased adult woman.
Hanover, 39, was last seen by family in Michigan March 18, according to Kenosha Police Department. Her car was found unoccupied near Fisherman's Circle in Kenosha. A phone was found in her vehicle.
Hanover has no ties to the area, Kenosha Police say.
