Twin sisters, Jayne and Jeanine don’t have a difficult time telling each other the truth.
“If you want a true opinion ask your twin sister,” Jayne said.
“I have to second that,” Jeanine said.
TODAY'S TMJ4 had the ladies test out three bizarre beauty products. Some items are brand new, and others are just unusual.
First up, Revlon’s Exactify Wheel Tip Eye-Liner. The tip looks like a miniature pizza wheel. It costs $7.19 on Amazon.
To compare, one sister tried out regular eye-liner.
“It goes on very thick,” Jayne said after trying it out.
“She looks like she's got a black eye,” Jeanine said.
Jeanine thought the regular eye-liner worked much better.
Next up, and brand new to the market, Remove and Chill Nail Polish Eraser Cream. It retails for $18.36 online at BeautyMart.
“I’ve never tried a nail polish remover cream,” Jayne said. “It doesn't work on shellac or gel nails, just FYI.”
To use the cream, you apply it to the nail, and leave the cream on one minute for each layer of polish. Jayne tried the cream. Jeanine used regular nail polish remover from a bottle.
The cream worked, but Jayne had two layers of polish and thought it took too long.
Jeanine was fine with her normal nail remover polish.
“It's a no-brainer, this wins every time,” Jeanine said, pointing to her bottle.
Product number two? The twins are giving it a thumbs down.
Last on the list and also new on store shelves, Hold Me Three Ways adjustable hairspray. It retails for $19.75 at Walmart. You can adjust the nozzle to use a low, medium or high volume of spray.
“I like the smell of it and I like the first hold you did,” Jeanine who tried out regular volume hairspray, to compare the products said.
“You could have one hairspray but for three different ways of wearing your hair,” Jayne said.
The twins gave it a thumbs up.
