A beer garden is set to open in Kenosha's Petrifying Springs Park on the city’s north side.
Kenosha County authorities announced a five-year agreement between the county and a local vendor, Petrifying Springs Biergarten LLC, to construct a German-style beer garden with authentic beer, wine, and food.
The vendor is investing $130,000 to transform the picnic area next to the dog park into a beer garden.
The beer garden is expected to open Memorial Day , and will remain open through October. Along with a full menu of German food and beer, the garden is expected to feature activities and events such as kickball leagues, live music, and movie nights.
