MILWAUKEE — The Better Business Bureau is putting out a warning about a wedding photographer Today's TMJ4 first told you about in March.

Several brides told Today's TMJ4 they paid Scott Sockett, who runs "Say I do Wedding Services" to take photographs and film their wedding. The brides said he either didn't show up or they didn't get what they paid for.

The BBB says it received 16 complaints about Sockett from customers in Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota. The warning says that Sockett has complaints against him for more than $25,000.

When we spoke to him in March, he had eight civil judgments against him from several different brides. He told Today's TMJ4 he was working to pay them back; however, no brides have been re-compensated.

"I just don't understand how a person who seemed so normal can be so malicious," bride Alexandra Moiser said.

Today's TMJ4 reached out to Sockett on Thursday and left a voicemail. The brides said that Sockett asked for money upfront and in full. The BBB says to never pay for wedding services in cash or the full amount upfront.
