Chris Kroeze of Barron, Wisconsin has reached the top eight of the NBC's singing competition The Voice.
Kroeze was 'saved' Tuesday night from elimination after performing Garth Brook's "Callin' Baton Rouge".
Kroeze, and coach Blake Shelton, will now have to prepare for the semifinals where only four of the top eight will move on.
Kroeze will next perform on December 10.
