BARRON, Wis. — Wisconsin teenager Jayme Closs has been missing since mid-October, but Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald is urging the public for more tips to help solve the case.
“As families get together over the next week we ask that you continue to look for behavior or routine changes in people. There is a tip out there!” Fitzgerald said in a Facebook post.
Fitzgerald has said he thinks the 13-year-old is alive.
“Maybe you don’t want to make that call because you are friends or family with the suspect. Do Jayme a favor this Christmas and call the tip line with your information,” Fitzgerald wrote.
Jayme has been missing since Oct. 15 when her parents, Denise and James Closs, were shot and killed at their home.
Officials have said Jayme was not involved in the killings. No gun was recovered from the scene.
