MADISON — The Wisconsin Badgers football team and staff are now reporting a total of 16 active COVID-19 cases within the department.
Fifteen of those cases came after Oct. 24, with one coming before. The news comes one day after the Badgers announced their game against Nebraska had been canceled.
Now, the team is saying the earliest they could return is Nov. 4. However, head coach Paul Chryst can not return until Nov. 7 due to his positive test result.

That game against Nebraska will not be rescheduled. Should the Badgers return on time, their next game would be against Purdue on Nov. 7.
