MILWAUKEE - The long-anticipated opening date for the East Side's first ax-throwing bar is near, and what better way to celebrate than with a party?
On June 16 AXE MKE will hold a grand opening party and open house, sponsored by Lakefront Brewery.
David Poytinger, owner of AXE MKE, stated, "Lakefront Brewery is the perfect partner for our Grand Opening. They are the true axe-perts of the craft beer scene in Milwaukee."
The first 100 people at the opening have a chance to win an 'East Side Swag Bag.' These bags will include coupons and gifts from East Side businesses including a free slice card from Ian's Pizza, gifts from Landmark Lanes, a free class card from Urban Om, and more.
The party will have free food, while supplies last, from East Side eats including Beans & Barley and Ian's Pizza.
The festivities begin at noon and end at midnight. Doors open at 11 a.m. Attendees must be 16 or older.
AXE MKE is located at 1924 E Kenilworth Place and will feature 12 lanes for ax-throwing fun.
