Lightning was the cause of a second house fire in southeastern Wisconsin on Thursday morning.
The Mequon Fire and Police Departments responded to a home on West Winding Hollow Lane for reports of a structure fire around 8 a.m.
Officers evacuated two residents from the home before the fire department arrived. Once on the scene, firefighters were able to get the fire under control in about 15 minutes.
There were no injuries in the fire.
In another incident, ahouse in Brookfield was struck by lightning, but there were no injuries.
