Southbound lanes of I-41 are closed at WIS 11 near Sturtevant, about seven miles west of Racine.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the closures are due to a crash that occurred about 4:30 a.m. The crash involves two semis, a pickup truck and two other vehicles.
One of the semis, a tanker, was on its side after going over the median wall, according to the Racine County Sheriff's Office. The tanker, filled with 45,000 gallons of non-hazardous material, disconnected from the cab. This is will cause a longer time for the area to be cleared up.
UPDATE: The southbound tanker pushed the median wall into the northbound lanes. Crews are working to reset the wall to get at least one of the northbound lanes reopened. All southbound lanes will continue to be closed. Please avoid travel in the area or use alternate routes. pic.twitter.com/4x3kjH8FOf

At this time, two people reportedly sustained minor injuries.
Law enforcement expects the closures to last up to two hours, and advises drivers to take alternative routes or follow the frontage roads.
Vehicles traveling southbound can exit at highway 20 and take the west frontage road to get back on the freeway at the 142 ramp.
