ALASKA — A Wisconsin man is heading to Alaska for the Iditarod dog sled races, and he's allergic to dogs.
Quince Mountain, 32, will be taking part in the 2020 Iditarod race in Alaska on March 7. This is his first year taking part in the event, which covers 1000 miles of some of the roughest terrain mother nature has to offer.
According to the Iditarod website, the terrain includes, "jagged mountain ranges, frozen river, dense forest, desolate tundra and miles of windswept coast."
Participants in the Iditarod come from all over the world. To follow along on Moutain's journey, follow his Twitter page.
