MILWAUKEE — Police say a 70-year-old man is in the hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car on Milwaukee's northwest side.
The Milwaukee Police Department says it happened shortly after 8:00 p.m. Monday in the 1100 block of W. Atkinson Ave.
Police say the man was hit while walking in the crosswalk. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The suspect was arrested on scene for OWI.
