WEST ALLIS -- West Allis Police are investigating after a 68-year-old man from Butler was stabbed in the parking lot of a Burger King.
It happened Saturday, just before Midnight, at the restaurant located on S. 108th Street.
According to police, the victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of stab wounds and lacerations.
Police say the suspect had fled the scene prior to officers arrival. An initial search of the area did result in the suspect being located. However, early Sunday morning officers located and took the suspect into custody.
Police say the two did not know each other.
The incident will be forwarded to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office for review.
