Michigan State Police say a child who was abducted from Wisconsin in July was rescued in Grand Traverse County, Michigan on Monday night.
According to MSP, troopers were dispatched to a home on Pearl St. in the Village of Kinglsey after a tip about a missing child from Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.
Troopers spoke with the caller who said he saw a missing child on Facebook and believed the child and his father were staying in a motorhome on the property.
MSP said they made contact with an adult man and child in the motorhome, and the man was detained. The child confirmed his identity as being 4-year-old Azariah Petrick.
The father, 30-year-old Mark Anthony Petrick, was uncooperative and provided a fake name, police said. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Police say Azariah was returned to his mother.
