36-year-old woman dies after 'fatal incident' in Washington Park, MCSO investigating

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a "fatal incident" that happened in Washington Park on Sept. 16.

Officials say that deputies responded to the Washington Park Lagoon on a report of an unconscious woman. When officials arrived, they found 36-year-old Ee Lee. Lee was taken to a medical facility where she died on Sept. 19.

The sheriff's office is asking for anyone who may have seen or encountered Lee in the vicinity of Washington Park between 5:45 p.m. and 8 p.m. are asked to call (414) 278-4788.

Shortly before 6 p.m., Lee was seen at 4900 W. North Avenue wearing a light blue-and-gray hooded sweatshirt, carrying a green coat and a yellow bag. Shortly after, she was seen walking in Washington Park near the Washington Park Lagoon.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said it was investigating Lee's death as a homicide.

No other details were released.
