KENOSHA, WI — A 3-year-old sustained serious injuries when a 25-year-old Waukegan, Ill. woman was driving westbound on Washington Road late last night and blew a red light at Green Bay Road in Kenosha. A driver going southbound hit her, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department.
The 3-year-old was in the car that blew the red light. There is no update on his condition.
The woman had a blood test but the results are unknown.
She's expected to make an initial appearance in court tomorrow.
Sgt. Hannah with the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department said she believes this is the drivers first OWI offense.
