MILWAUKEE — Brooklyn Harris, the three-year-old shot and killed during an apparent road rage argument was laid to rest Tuesday morning.
Inside the Pitts Mortuary, everything was pink and Minnie mouse themed for little Brooklyn.
Visitation for the family started at 10 —followed by the funeral service at 11. The 3-year-old was in a car with her mom and siblings when they nearly collided with another car. The other driver allegedly fired a gun and those shots killed Brooklyn.
“Without prayer and fasting and being supportive of one another we wouldn’t be able to stand together. We would probably be angry and try to lash out at who did this, but that’s not the way to go,”Lasangna Ferguson-Fields, Brooklyn's grandmother, said.
The man accused of shooting and killing Brooklyn Harris was charged Wednesday.
